Heating brewing water with the sun

A great portion of a breweries energy is spent heating water for the brewing process. This is usually done with a dirty cumbustion system with great expense.  In our system we will utilize the sun to get the water almost to stike temperatue. The Los Angeles climate is pretty good for solar, so we should have excellent efficiency.  I built a few Plate collector systems in Brazil and they could get water hot enough to burn your skin.  The system is run with a sun powered thermo syphon which circulates water through a system of ascending copper manifolds.  As water circulates, the sun makes it hotter and hotter.  We will use a similar system to pre-heat brewing and steam water.  On a sunny day we could see a 90% solar assist rate.
