Dry River Brewing is proud to announce the addition of Naga Reshi to the Dry River Brewing crew. His passion for brewing cutting edge beers and contributing to the development of the Sustainability movement within the craft brewing industry is second to none, and his enthusiasm and friendly personality make him a great guy to sit down and have a beer with. Over the last 20 years, Naga has worked and traveled around the world where he has worked as a chef, producer, carpenter, painter, and brewer. Naga discovered home brewing in the summer of 1992, and since then Naga has brewed over 1,000 batches of beer in countries such as Argentina, Holland, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Brazil, always learning and experimenting with local ingredients and wild yeasts.
In 2005, Naga buit his first brewpub, Karamuru, in Itaparica, Brasil introducing craft beer to virgin territory. The brewery he designed and built utilized solar energy and many other green technologies that Naga developed. Two years later, strong demand prompted Naga to build a 15 Barrel full-production brewery. He sold the brewery in 2011 and returned to the U.S. where he worked for Wynwood Brewing, the first craft brewery in Miami. Naga actively consults for breweries in Alaska, Puerto Rico, Montana, and California, assisting with everything from barrel aging programs, brewery design, bottle conditioning programs, and recipe formulation.
