What's Brewing?

There's always something new brewing in the Dry River kitchen... We aim to keep things fresh and seasonal, and are always thinking of ways to incorporate interesting new flavors and ingredients in to our beers.  Check out what we have in the works...

Brewing With The Seasons

Ales and Saisons in the spring and summer, Belgians and browns in the fall, stouts and winter warmers in the, uh, winter… IPAs all year.  There are so many awesome beers out there, we’re inspired every day to keep trying new ideas.  Here's a little taste of what's on tap!

Horchata Cream Ale - A classic American Cream Ale, except made with cinnamon, flaked rice, and Japanese hops that taste like vanilla...plus some vanilla.  Like horchata, but it's beer... Orale!

Newest Brews

Rio Seco Pale – Our Rio Seco Pale is a citrusy well-balanced session ale, brewed with wheat for extra body and Victory malt for spice.  Like summer in a glass.

Hop on Board IPA - Our take on the West Coast IPA is piney without being bitter, slightly sweet but not cloying, and very sessionable at 6%.  All aboard!

Man-overboard Double IPA – Weighing in at 8.5% ABV, our ruby-colored double-IPA doesn’t mess around. Liberal amounts of Chinook and Amarillo hops balance the sturdy malt backbone, making for a dangerously drinkable big beer.

More Beer

Suavecita Saison – We always have a Saison brewing in the summer, but the Suavecita is one of our absolute favorites. Made with Belgian grains and yeast, and finished with Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand that layer in flavors of tropical fruit and melon...

Chamomile Honey Wheat – Vanda’s take on the ever popular honey wheat, the Chamomile adds a delicate floral aroma and a light spiciness to the finish. This one always goes fast.

Soft Bottom Dunkelweizen - Our take on this traditional German estilo is full-bodied and velvetty, with flavors of banana and cloves and a roasty finish.

Holiday Beers

We're busy brewing creative seasonal ales for the Holidays. There is a Pumpkin-Pie Porter in the fermenter right now (that's fresh carmelized pumpkin in that sack!), and to continue with the pumpkin theme we'll be brewing a Pumpkin-Spiced Belgian Dubbel this week.

Then just in time for Turkey Day we will be putting out a Cranberry Wheat - a perfect pairing with your post-Thanksgiving turkey sandwiches!

Dave is all excited about his "Irish Coffee Stout"... made with with cold-brewed coffee, spiked with fresh-oaked Irish whiskey, and served with a spoonfull of un-sweetened whipped cream! Yum yum! Let us know if we should save you some!
